ChickTracker Help & Support 🐣

Welcome to the ChickTracker Help Center.
Here you’ll find answers to common questions and guidance on using ChickTracker Online.

If you need assistance, we’re here to help.

Account Activation After Signup

Because our billing system and ChickTracker application run on separate systems, new subscriptions must be verified and activated before access is granted.

What happens after you subscribe

  1. You complete checkout through Square
  2. Your payment is securely processed
  3. Our system receives the subscription notification
  4. Your ChickTracker account is activated and provisioned

Activation Time

Account activation may take a short period of time while systems synchronize.

Most accounts are activated within:

15 minutes – 12 hours

During busy times it may take up to 24 hours.

You will receive an email once your account is ready.

If You Just Signed Up

If you just subscribed and cannot log in yet, this usually means your account is still being activated.

Please allow time for the activation process before contacting support.

If it has been more than 24 hours, please contact us.

Getting Started

Once your account is activated, you can begin using ChickTracker immediately.

Create Your First Incubation Load

An incubation load represents a group of eggs placed into an incubator.

To create one:

  1. Go to Loads
  2. Click Add Load
  3. Enter your start date
  4. Enter the number of eggs
  5. Add notes if desired

You can update the load as incubation progresses.

Track Baskets

If you organize eggs by trays or baskets inside your incubator, ChickTracker allows you to track them individually.

Tracking baskets helps you:

  • monitor hatch rates
  • track different breeds
  • compare incubation performance

Record Hatch Results

Once eggs hatch, you can record the results:

  • number hatched
  • number unhatched
  • notes about hatch quality

This allows ChickTracker to generate reports and help improve future hatch success.

Breeder Tracking (Advanced Feature)

Breeder tracking allows farms and breeders to monitor:

  • roosters
  • hens
  • breeding groups
  • hatch performance by breeding pair

This feature is included in the Starter + Support plan.

Reports

ChickTracker provides reports to help analyze:

  • hatch rates
  • egg counts
  • breeder performance
  • incubation success over time

Reports help you identify trends and improve incubation results.

Exporting Data

You can export your records as CSV files for:

  • backup
  • farm records
  • spreadsheets
  • accounting or documentation

Exports are available in the reporting section.

Mobile Friendly

ChickTracker works on:

  • phones
  • tablets
  • desktop computers

No app is required. Simply log in through your web browser.

Data & Backups

While ChickTracker stores your records securely, we recommend that farms maintain their own backups of important data.

You can export your data anytime.
